About Kihealth

A precision molecular intelligence company.

Kihealth builds the molecular infrastructure to predict, detect, monitor and intercept disease earlier — translating foundational science into a scalable, clinically validated precision medicine platform.

Physicians, researchers and patients united by a shared healthcare mission

Who we are

Built to identify disease before it changes a life.

For decades, medicine has waited for disease to declare itself. Kihealth was founded on a different premise: that biological change can be detected years earlier, at a molecular level, when intervention still alters the outcome.

Predict & detect

Molecular signal years ahead of symptoms or clinical diagnosis.

Monitor

Sensitive longitudinal readouts of therapeutic response and progression.

Intercept

Actionable insight delivered into routine clinical decision-making.

Our origin

From Yale discovery to commercial platform.

The foundational technology behind Kihealth originated at Yale University, where pioneering work by Dr. Kevan Herold demonstrated that beta-cell injury could be detected using circulating biomarkers — revealing molecular signals long before symptoms, diagnosis, or irreversible damage.

That discovery created a rare commercial opportunity: to rethink how chronic disease, beginning with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, is identified. Kihealth was founded in 2023 to translate this science out of the academic setting and into diagnostics delivered reliably, affordably and at scale.

Today the company advances and commercializes that technology through its high-complexity molecular laboratory in St. Augustine, Florida, alongside leading physicians, academic institutions, health systems and industry partners.

Why Kihealth exists

Healthcare must move from reaction to interception.

The economics and the outcomes of chronic disease are determined long before diagnosis. Kihealth is built for the transition already underway.

Mission & vision

What drives us, and where we are going.

Our mission

Empowering clinicians with earlier, more actionable insight.

Deliver molecular insight that enables earlier disease detection, improves therapeutic decision-making, supports treatment monitoring and helps patients live healthier lives — moving healthcare from a reactive model to one centered on prevention, precision and earlier intervention.

Our vision

A healthcare system built around prevention, not consequence.

Molecular diagnostics as a routine part of clinical care — equipping physicians to identify disease earlier, personalize treatment, monitor response and improve outcomes across chronic disease, at population scale.
